Mrs. Clara Keil, 92, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc and Manitowoc Rapids, died Thursday afternoon, Dec. 16, at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Keil, nee Cara Lambries, was born Dec. 4, 1890, at Tigerton, Wis., daughter of the late Adam and Elizabeth Holzek Lambries. She was married to Elmer Keil Sr. Oct. 3, 1906, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1963.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Camile Keil, Robert and Pauline Keil, Ralph and Mary Keil and Gerald and Bette Keil; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Harry Witczak and Gladys and Francis Lallensack and a sister, Mrs. Grace Wickert, all of Manitowoc, 28 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Three sons, Elmer Jr., Donald and Roland; five brothers, two grandchildren and a great great grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Friday evening. A prayer service will be at 8 o'clock conducted by Deacon William Klein.
