Mrs. Raymond Kruck, 52, of 811 N. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient five weeks.
Funeral services will be at 3:15 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Vernon Anderson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Kruck, the former Sylvia Estelle Krieg, was born at Chicago May 20, 1908,
daughter of the late Carl H. and Bessie Cobb Krieg. She attended Manitowoc public
schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1926.
She had been employed for a number of years in a meat market operated by her father,
a veteran in the retail meat business.
She was married to Mr. Kruck June 8, 1932, at Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kruck was a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant of Milwaukee, auxiliary
of the Knights Templar, Milwaukee; Two Rivers-Manitowoc Unit of the Twin Cites Unit
Shrine Hospitals for Crippled Children; Chapter 196, Order of Eastern Star; Manitowoc
Commandery, No. 45, Auxiliary; Elks Lodge Auxiliary; Auxiliary of Drews-Bleser American
Legion Post; Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; Women's Guild of First Lutheran Church and
the Martha Circle of the church; and the Lions Club Auxiliary of which she was a past
president.
Surviving are her husband, a sister, Mrs. Lorraine Stecker, of Oshkosh, a brother,
Carl F. Krieg, of Manitowoc and 10 nieces and nephews. A sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m.
Monday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state
until the hour of service. The Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services
at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
