Funeral services for Richard A. Daugs, 31, of 1337 S. 20th St., Manitowoc,
who died Monday will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. B. C. Gumz will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Drews-Bleser Post
88, American Legion.
Mr. Daugs was born Nov. 10, 1934, at Manitowoc, son of Bernard and Esther
Prucha Daugs. He was a welder at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and a member
of Boilermakers Union 443. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II,
entering service Dec. 5, 1954, and was discharged Nov. 20, 1957, as a
specialist. He saw action in the European Theater of War.
He married Sharon Larson Aug. 16, 1958, at Manitowoc. She survives with two
sons, (private), and a daughter, (private), parents, a brother, Harold, of
Manitowoc and three sisters, Mrs. Reuben Hawkins of Sheboygan, Mrs. Frncis
Lesperance, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Eugene Welch, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc.
