MAGDALENA BISHOP

Mrs. Magdalena Bishop, 79, resident of the Elm Terrace Home, 610 N.
Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Monday night at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc,
following a short illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
The Rev. Donald Rose will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
The former Magdalena Stadler was born Dec. 19, 1873, in the town of
Kossuth and was married to Rudolph Bishop in November of 1892. The
couple moved to Manitowoc and the husband died in 1951. Mrs. Bishop
was a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the St. Ann Altar Society
of St. Boniface Church.
She is survived by two sons, Louis and Vernon of Manitowoc, five
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday and the
rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday by the St. Ann Altar Society.
