Flora Davis Martin 103, died September 16, 2016 at Baptist Hospital Union County. She was born February 5, 1913 to the late Marshall & Mary Hogue Davis. She was a retired seamstress. She was the oldest living member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting and sewing. She loved spending time with her family.
Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Don Wilson, Bro. David Blackwell and Bro. Whitt Lewis officiating with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include her children; Lamond Armstrong, Booneville, Vivian Rhodes, Baldwyn & Marvell Armstrong, Corinth. Adopted daughter; Nancy Croft, DC, Brother Willie T. Davis, New Albany, (15) grandchildren, (23) great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, (2) husbands Joe Armstrong and Mitchell Martin, Son; Wilton Armstrong, Brothers; Luther and Enis Davis, Sister; Jessie B. Roberts, son in law; William Rhodes; daughter in laws; Mary Sue Armstrong and Donna Armstrong, (2) grandchildren and (3) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday 5 pm till 8 pm at Waters Funeral Home.
