V. Alberta Lynch, age 95, of Moulton, Iowa, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at her home. Alberta was born the daughter of Tom and Laura(Stites)Gorman in Hilltown, Iowa (near Coal City) on October 4, 1908. She graduated from Moulton Community School.
On March 7, 1929, Alberta was united in marriage to George D. Lynch in Moravia, Iowa. During her lifetime, Alberta was a Homemaker who took care of and cared very deeply for her family. She was a member of the Hilltown Christian Church and attended the Moulton Christian Church.
Alberta was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, George D. Lynch on July 17, 1985; her sister, Vivian Hanson; and her brother, Clifton Gorman.
She is survived by: her two sons, George"Stuart" Lynch and his wife Lois and Larry Lynch and his wife Nancy, all of Bloomfield, Iowa; as well as 6 grand children, twelve great grandchildren and 2 great great grand children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 10am at the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery in Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 from 10-8pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home in Moulton, Iowa. Memorials can be made either to the Hilltown Christian Church or the Moulton Christian Church.
