Mr. Ayala, age 91 years, passed away August 10, 2012 at his home. He was born in New Braunfels,Texas to the late Herman and Philomena (Allegro) Ayala. George retired from Bay City Chevrolet.
He married the former Janet Bertram and she preceded him in death. Survivors include 5 children: Janice Ayala, Bert Ayala, Bill (Kary) Ayala, Rich (Kim) Ayala and Isabella (Mike) Lindauer, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters, Ann Casper and Evelyn Sharrow and his brothers: Frank and Roy Ayala. He was preceded in death by a son, George Ayala, killed in Vietnam, as well as a brother, Joe Ayala and sister, Mary Klopp.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 1-7 p.m. at Penzien Steele Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the wishes of the family.
