William Hudson Chesteen, Sr.

William Hudson Chesteen, Sr., 79, of French Camp, died of heart failure at his home on Thursday, August 9. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11,
at French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp, with Rev. Randy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the French Camp Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at French Camp Baptist Church.

Mr. Chesteen was the son of the late Clarence and Iva Arline Bridges Chesteen. He was a retired carpenter and a member of French Camp Baptist Church, where he
served as a deacon for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue Chesteen of French Camp; daughter, Theresa Pee of Ethel; son, Billy Chesteen of French Camp; sister, Betty Ruth Crouch of Winona; three grandchildren, Gary Pee, Bethany Chesteen, and B. J. Chesteen; and three great-grandchildren, Brody Pee, Christian Pee, and Mia Pee.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Chesteen's nephews. Deacons of French Camp Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
