Spokane woman to be buried here

The funeral for Bessie L. Friddles, 86, a former resident of Troy, Ore., will be held at Rosalia, Was., and burial will be at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens at Lewiston Wednesday with Jaeger Funeral Home of Rosalia in charge.

The funeral services will be held at the Rosalia Christian Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Raymond Hartling officiating. Committal rites will be held at the Lewiston cemetery at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Friddles died Sunday at Spokane where she had resided since 1972. She previously had lived short times with her four daughters.

She was born Feb. 22, 1890, in Noth Carola to Samuel and Amanda Silver. The family came west in 1893 to Troy, Ore., to farm. She was married to Joseph Friddles at Lewiston, July 1, 1911 and they farmed at Troy until his death in 1963.

She spent the next nine years with her daughters - Mrs. Oscar Hansen of Coeur d'Alene, Mrs. Ed Wilkinson of Troy, Idaho; Mrs James Scoggin of Pomeroy and Mrs Win Finley of Rasalia. She also left seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
