Lucienne A. (Guay) Banville, age 92, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012. She was born in Fall River, Mass., on Nov. 23, 1919. She lived most of her life in Fall River, and later in Middleboro, Mass. She moved to Crestview in 2003.

She worked as a seamstress and later as a nurses aide at Lakeville Sands in Lakeville, Mass., until she retired. She volunteered at the Senior Citizen Center and at the St. Luke's Hospital in Middleboro, Mass.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Lucienne was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline (Banville) Benevides, and son-in-law Dennis; son, Paul Banville, and daughter-in-law Gerry; brothers, Normand Guay and William Guay; sister, Bernadette (Guay) Filipczak; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Our Lady of Victory with Father John Cayer officiating.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to Our Lady of Victory food pantry.
