SUSAN HAINLINE BOWLES DIES
Susan Hainline Bowles, daughter of William M. and Pauline Roberts Hainline was born August 12, 1852. March 17, 1869 she was married to Joseph H. Bowles, who passed away March 16, 1934. To this union were born five children, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Ella Burk, Enid, Oklahoma; Mrs. Eugene Turner, Barry, III., Mrs. W. A. Brunk, Emerson, Mo., J. G. Bowles, Chico, Cal., C. B. Bowles, Hannibal, Mo.
Mrs. Bowles became a Christian early in life and united with the Martin Baptist church near Steffenville.
She passed away June 6, 1934 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Brunk, where she has made her home since the death of her husband.
Besides her children she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Samuels, Ewing, Mo., ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a number of other relatives and many friends.
