Thurston Herring died at the residence of his father, Hon. P. Herring, on High street, yesterday morning at 5 o'clock, aged about 42 years. Mr. Herring went to Missouri about the year 1883 where he followed the painting trade until a few years ago when he was paralyzed.
He returned to his home here in 1899. His condition gradually became worse, although, at times, he seemed to be improving.
The deceased was the only son of Hon. P. Herring who survives him. He is also survived by his only sister, Mrs. W. A. Richcreek.
