July 2017: The burial information came from the late Estelle Pringle UE around a decade ago and was in the form of an exerpt from her Family Tree which was at kidlink.org. Included in her genealogy were:
1) Shaw/Beecher Generalogy;
2) Rolls of the Provincial Corps by mary Beacock Fryer UE;
3) The Rolls of the Provincial Loyalist Corps.

What was stated in the genealogy as it pertains to William
was stated thus:

* Born c 1750 at Skenesborough (later Whitehall) NY
or abt 1749/50 at Cazvan? (Caanan) Parish, Litchfield? Co.,

* Immigrated 4 Dec 1783 to Kingston, Ontario
and after the Revolutionary War
* Buried between 1835 & 1841 at
Loyalist Cemetery, Loyalist Cemetery,
Adolphustown (Hay Bay).
* Residences: Connecticut, New York, and
Fredericksburg, Upper Canada
