Mrs. Cora DeRouen Hyatt, 61, of 4031 Searle, died at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday in a Houston hospital. She was a native of New Iberia, La., and had lived in Houston since 1922. She was a member of the Annunciation Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. E. A. Hydrick of Houston; three sons, George P. DeRouen and C. J. DeRouen, both of Houston, and M. P. DeRouen of Salem, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. A. G. Stomaski of Worcester, Mass., Mrs. L. E. Leblanc of Homer, La., and Julia Wilson of Houston; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at the Fogle-West chapel, and at 4 p.m. at the Annunciation Church. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Raymond Derby, Ralph Doyer, Fred S. Wallace, Howard Milligan, John F. King and Donald Erskine. Fogle-West Company.

Her first marriage was to Homer DeRouen on 26 Jul 1898 in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Her second marriage was to Clyde Hyatt on June 8, 1917 in Houston.
