Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Carrier[e] Wyble, 90, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Tremie will conduct the services.

Mrs. Wyble, a resident of Opelousas, died at 12:25 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2000, in Opelousas General Hospital. She was a housewife. Mrs. Wyble was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, was Catholic Daughter of the Year, and a past Regent of the Ladies Altar Society.

Survivors include: two sons, Fred A. Wyble and wife Peggy and Wayne Wyble and wife Bonnie, both of Opelousas; two daughters, Mary Faith Wyble Thomassee and husband Ray of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lorna Sue Wyble Miller and husband Leroy of Opelousas; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wyble was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Joseph Wyble; and a daughter, Amaryllis Ann Wyble.

Visiting hours will be observed from 2 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on the Old Sunset Hwy in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
