Services for Henry Richtmyer, 90, of 4865 Paisley Road, Ballston Spa, who died Saturday June 3, at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness, will be conducted by the Rev. Stewart Jones at 1 pm Wednesday, June 7, at the Jones Funeral Home.
Mr. Richtmyer, formerly of 1102 Parkwood Boulevard, was employed as a conductor for the Delaware and Hudson Railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1952. He was a member of the Schoharie Valley Lodge No. 491 F&AM, and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Dingman Richtmyer; a son, James Richtmyer of Schenectady; a daughter, Mrs. Betty McCartney of Ballston Spa; a brother, William Friss of Warnerville; four grandchildren; a great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Delanson.
