Obituary: Carleton Sentinal, 22 Oct 1887
Died at Bath on the 14th inst. Deacon William O. Giberson, on the 76th year of his age, leaving wife, four sons & 5 daughters and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The deceased was widely known, respected by all. His funeral sermon was preached by Rev. S.E. Currie; 3 other ministers took part in the services. His remains were followed to the grave by hundreds; Seldom has there been seen so large a concourse of people in that place.
