Pop France was precededed in death by his parents, Esthel France, his wife; daughter: Sheila Ann Hopper; sons: Robert Stennis; Jerry Stennis; Jerome Stennis; and Terry France.
He was survived by Dot Davis France, his spouse; daughters:
Fannie Mattox of Choudrant, Louisiana; Shirley Dee Williams and Mrs. Eshter Davis of Biloxi; Casey France (1961-1998) m. Valerie France of Franklinton, Louisiana; four sisters: Aletha Tiggs (1927-2008); Mrs. Ira Tiggs; Anna Campbell; and Sadie Flucas; and two brothers: W.C. France and March Harold France, all of Chicago, Illinois; thirty grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.
Mr. France's funeral services were directed by the Richmond Funeral Home of Biloxi with internment in the Biloxi Cemetery.
