The funeral service for Barbara Jean McBay, age 83, will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2012, at First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Barbara was born to Ellie and Lottie (Grubbs) Willeford on April 5, 1929, in Blair, Oklahoma, and passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, in Enid.
Barbara grew up in Lawton, graduating from High School there. She married Charles Bandy McBay in Lawton, and they made their home in Oklahoma City before moving to Enid in1963. Barbara was a Supervisor at the Enid State School for over 26 years until her retirement. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Barbara is survived by her children, Charles McBay and wife Terri of Vista, California, Billy McBay and wife Lynn of Broken Arrow, Janelle Wofford and husband David of Enid, Gary McBay of Azle, Texas, and Ladonna Slater and husband Ernie of Enid; sister Althora Jones of Chickasha; grandchildren; great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, and grandsons Joshua and Brian.
