God's special Angel, Tanya A. Simmons, 43, of Yakima, WA and former Grandview resident went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Tanya was born on February 05, 1969 in North Bend, OR the daughter of Andrew and Dorothy (Beddingfield) Simmons. Tanya attended school in Grandview and Sunnyside graduating in 1990. Tanya was one of God's Special Children, becoming disabled at an early age, she touched the hearts of all she came in contact with.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack A. Simmons. Tanya is survived by her mother, Dottie J. Simmons. Two brothers, Tim Simmons of Texas and Mickey J. Isbell of Lewiston, Idaho. Niece of Ray Beddingfield of Yakima; Lee and Faye Evans of Selah, WA; Fay Farley of Houston, Texas; Pearl Davis, Ann Stacy, Jimmy Simmons all of GA and a large number of cousins.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, WA.

Burial will be in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, WA.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Yakima Memorial Hospital and Hospice Care.
