Funeral services for Lillian Hynson will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic church with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park. Bishop Michael Jarrell with conduct the services.
Mrs. Hynson, 93, a former resident of Opelousas, died March 29, 2006 at Trinity Rehab Facility in Slidell, La.
She is survived by her daughters, Lillian Hynson Burch of Slidell La, Judith Dale Hynson of Pineville, La and Leslie Hynson Dillon of Manitou Springs, CO.; she is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hynson was preceded in death by her husband, Allen M. Hynson and her parents, Jesse P. and Marie Poulet Barnett; her sisters, Jesse Rosa Jarrell and Miriam Doherty and a brother J.P. Barnett Jr.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Lafond Ardoin Funeral of Opelousas from 12 noon till time of service. The family requests that donations may be made to: Hospice of Louisiana, 770 Gause Blvd. Suite C., Slidell La 70458.
