Mrs. Bessie B. Grim, 84, of 74 Frost Village, died yesterday. She had been in failing health the past year. Born at Eckhart, she was a daughter of the late James and Annie (Glen) Bannatyne. Her husband, Edwin S. Grim, preceded her in death in 1953. She was a member of the First English Baptist Church and organizer of the WMU of the church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson, Oldtown; Mrs. Catherine Smith, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Anne Thomas, of here; Mrs. Margie Runion, Cumberland; Mrs. Elizabeth Seltzer, Hagerstown; three sons, Rev. John Grim, Farmington, Pa.; Frederick and Lawrence D. Grim, Akron, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Donald E. Walls and Rev. W. Randolph Keefe officiating. Burial will be in Eckhart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Warfield Wilson, Craig Grim, John D. Grim, William Seltzer, and David Grim.
