Mrs. Margaret H. Elias, 114 Center Street, died last night in Miners' Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. A native of Eckhart, Mrs. Elias was a daughter of the late James and Annie (Glenn) Bannatyne. She held membership in First English Baptist Church. Her husband, former City Councilman, Edwin Elias, died December 15, 1949. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. L. O. Leavell, Newnan, Georgia; four sons, Thomas and James Elias, Frostburg; Edwin W. Elias, Oakland; Robert Elias, Baltimore; three sisters, Miss Kate Bannatyne and Mrs. William Harriman, Eckhart; and Mrs. Edwin Grim, Frostburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Donald A. Voseller, pastor of the First English Baptist Church and Rev. Sidney S. Aldrich, pastor of First Baptist Church, Eckhart. Burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park, Eckhart.
