William Birschbach

William Birschbach, 84, formerly of Mount Calvary, died Monday afternoon at Care Center East where he resided for the past six years.

Born May 11, 1890, in the Town of Taycheedah, he was the son of Anton and Gertrude Fuhrmann Birschbach. He never married.

Mr. Birschbach farmed with a brother and sister in the Mount Calvary area until 1952 when he moved to the Village of Mount Calvary where he was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

His only survivor is a sister, Miss Anna Birschbach of Fond du Lac. Five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Mount Calvary. The Rev. Rupert Dorn will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends of Mr. Birschbach may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
