Brenda Hill Kuykendall, 69, of Martinsville, died Friday August 3, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Henry County, April 10, 1943 to William G. (Bill) Hill, Sr. and Eva Turner Hill, both deceased. She was a graduate of Bassett High School and retired from DuPont where she was a clerk typist.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edmund W. Kuykendall of the residence; one daughter, Elizabeth Kuykendall of Martinsville; two sons, Ted R. Kuykendall of Houston, TX and Jeff B. Kuykendall of Woodstock, GA; two brothers, Wallace G. Hill of Mebane, NC and William G. Hill, Jr. of Martinsville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett with Dr. Daniel Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home.
