MRS. CHARLES SCOTT PASSES AWAY FRIDAY
Mrs. Alice Scott, wife or Charles B. Scott, passed away at her home in Union township at 10:00 o'clock Friday morning after an illness of about four days. Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Dabney and Bertha Bowles and was a native of this county. She was born May 23, 1859, and was the last surviving member of a family of thirteen children. She is survived by her husband, Chnrles Scott, to whom she was married in 1882.
Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Sunday morning from the Emerson Christian church, with burial at Emerson.
