Barney was the son of Leonidas Edmund & Anna Catherine (Smith) Anderson.

Funeral services for Barney S Anderson, 29, who died Wednesday evening at King's Mountain Memorial Hospital at 8:30 o'clock, will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 from the home of Mrs. J A Callaham, 728 Fairview St.

Young Mr. Anderson, a member of a well-known Bristol family, had an unusually large number of friends and was one of the city's most popular young men. He had been bookkeeper for the Enterprise Wheel & Car Corporation for the last 8 years.

He leaves to mourn his demise friends without number, for to know him was to be a friend. His home life and devotion to his family made him a husband and father in reality.

He is survived by his widow (nee Miss Louise Callaham) two children, Elaine, 6, and Barney, Jr., 4; his parents Mr. and Mrs. L E Anderson: two brothers Worley T, of Bristol, and Albert J, of Nashville, Tenn., and one sister Mrs. Joe Corvin of Bristol.

Funeral services will be in charge of the Rev J H Shuler assisted by the Rev W O Woodyard; interment will follow in East Hill Cemetery.
