Ruby Sanders, age 83, died Saturday, Aug. 8,
1992 in Collingsworth General Hospital.
Ruby Gardner Sanders was born March 29, 1909, in Erath County, Texas. Her parents were John Gardner and Mary Lou Wells Gardner.
She came with her family to Wellington in 1913 from Erath County. She moved to Shamrock in 1946.
Ruby and Macy Sanders were married Oct. 3, 1952 in Clovis,NM. They resided in Amarillo until 1974 when they moved to Wellington. Her husband died Feb. 8 1992. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a retired grocery cashier.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Faye Horton and Billie Seitz, both of Wellington, and one sister, Ethel Littleton; 11 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
