Macey Sanders, 82, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1992 in Wellington. Mr. Sanders was born in Chillicothe April 26, 1909. His parents were William Marion and Sarah Ann Sanders. He married Ruby Gardner Oct. 3, 1952 in Clovis, N.M. Mr. Sanders was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a retired wholesale tire salesman. He came to Wellington in 1974 from Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Sanders of Wellington; 2 step-daughters, Faye Horton and Billie Seitz, both of Wellington; one son, Boyd Sanders, Mancos, Colorado; one daughter, Anna Lee Elrod, Ft. Worth; two sisters, Helen Lamb, Lefors and Edna Mae Lamb, Plainview; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
