Age 45, son of John H. and Giovina Sette Scheffner of Erie. He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep’s Class of 1977 and he attended Vo-Tech School. He worked at GE for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and was a Cleveland Brown and Yankee Fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lynn M. Carter Scheffner, two sons, Christopher S. Piganelli of Erie and Brian T. Scheffner of Erie; two sisters, Mary Jo Steffes (Paul) of Philadelphia and Patricia Laskowski (Robert) of Cleveland; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
