He passed away after a battle with cancer, surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter J. Gehrer.Ron enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, boating, hunting and scuba diving. He was a sheet metal worker for 30 years with Local 124 and Local 29 and a construction manager at Wichita Electric Co. in Wichita, KS and Aurora, CO.
