He was born in Kansas City, MO, on May 27, 1928 of parents William and Elsie Taylor Campbell. He is survived by his children: Mary Campbell, William (Bill) Campbell III, Kevin Campbell, Carolyn Campbell, Veronica (Roni) Campbell, Brian Campbell, Dolores Black, and Douglas Campbell, 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Catholic, Rockville, MD on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. Inurnment will be at a later date at All Souls Cemetery, Gaithersburg, MD. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, to American Cancer Society, Relay For Life Clarksburg High School, 801 Roeder Rd., Suite 800, Silver Spring, MD.
