Lois R. Boyle, 95, of Sebring and formerly of Marlboro, passed away at 9:17 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
She was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Columbiana, Ohio, to Willis R. and Emma J. Van Skiver Rupert.
A 1964 graduate of Mount Union College with her B.S. in education, Lois was a teacher at Marlboro Elementary and Marlington Middle School.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, D.A.R., and she volunteered at RSVP Adult Basic Education classes.
Survivors include her children, Ann Huston of Cuyahoga Falls, Wayne Boyle of San Diego, California, Olyn Boyle of Valencia, California, and Scott Boyle of Mentor; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Rupert of Columbiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olyn W. Boyle, whom she married May 21, 1942, and who died Aug. 17, 2000; two sisters; and three brothers.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
