Sara Luella Miller, 79, 1716 S. Eddy, formerly of Uniontown, died Thursday, April 7, 1994 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was born Jan. 22, 1915 at Uniontown, the daughter of Edward and Naomi Ruth Treadway Swink. She married William Virgil "Bill" Miller on June 4, 1938, at Uniontown. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1993.

Miller worked as a supervisor in the Coding Department of the Western Insurance Company. She retired on March 28, 1980. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Uniontown.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Joanna Bradbury, Uniontown, and Virginia Lambing, St. Joseph, Mo.; three sisters, Adna Mae Dalton, Fort Scott, Betty Sexton, Richland, Wash., and Emogene Jaquay, Chico, Calif; six grandsons; 4 great-grandsons; and 2 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Louis Swink and Edward Swink.

Pastor Bruce Burfield and Deane Endicott will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Uniontown First Missionary Baptist Church, under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Uniontown Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
