LYKENS- Carley V. Kahler, 82, of Route 209 in Loyalton, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Manor At Susquehanna Village.
She was born February 7, 1930 in Loyalton, the daughter of the late Landen and Faye (Hoffman) Hoover.
She had worked in the past for Ned Rich, Elizabethville. She was a member of St. Peter's UCC, Lykens and served with the church choir and on the Women's Guild. She had membership with the Order of Eastern Star and the Elizabethville senior citizens group.
She was the widow of Myles H. Kahler.
Survivors include her Son, Lynn, husband of Peggy Kahler of Elizabethville; Sister, Barbara Deitrich, Loyalton; Grandson, Tad Kahler with Christy and Courtney Peifer of Halifax. Many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Bruce and Lou Hoover.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 4 from 10-11 AM at St. Peters U.C.C., Lykens. Services starting at 11 with burial to follow at St. Peters-Hoffmans Cemetery, Lykens.
