======

James Kelly Flynn, South Main Street, died at his home Tuesday night about 7:15 o'clock following an illness of two months. He was seventy-one. Mr. Flynn was born June 29, 1975, in this county, where he lived all his life. He engaged in farming early in life and continued in that occupation until several years ago when poor health forced him to retire. He came to Somerset from Norfleet about twenty years ago. His pleasing disposition and kind nature made him a favorite with all who knew him. He was a devoted husband and father, always placing the welfare of his family before his personal interests. Many friends and relatives throughout the county mourn his passing.

He professed faith in Christ several years ago and at the time of his death was a member of the Baptist Church. He was as active in religious work as his health would permit.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou (Scrimager) Flynn, Somerset, and seven children, Paul Flynn, Mrs. Hilda Stringer, Mrs. Clarence Weddle and Lee Flynn, all of Somerset; Delno Flynn, Louisville, Gover Flynn, Goodland, Ind., and Mrs Ella Ard, Norfleet.

Funeral services will be held at the Slide Springs Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Bert Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery there.
