Mrs. Gibeault was born in St. Legaris, Canada, Sept. 8, 1858, and at the age of 12 moved with her parents to Coleman, and was one of the survivors of the well-known Peshtigo Fire in 1871. In the year 1880 she was married to Armidas Gibeault, the couple then moving to a farm here in what was then known as Braultville. There they resided together until 1909, when Mr. Gibeault died, the family remaining there until 15 years ago, when Mrs. Gibeault moved to this village.
She is survived by five sons, Aristide and Homer, of Coleman; Emil of Pound; Arthur and Joseph of Two Rivers; three daughters, Mrs. H. Soumis, Chassel, Mich; Mrs. Sam LaValley, Spokane Wash; a sister Mrs. Adam Durand, Coleman and two brothers Edmund and Leon, both of Two Rivers.
