Zacharias Faidley, son of Peter and Catherine (Caton) Faidley, died Very Suddenly. (1905)
Zacharias Faidley, the well-known blacksmith, at Keim, died very suddenly on Tuesday morning, at about three o'clock, after an illness of only a few hours. On Monday afternoon he was suddenly overcome by a stroke of some kind, and had to be helped to the house, but he did not at first think it was anything serious, and did not want the family to send for a doctor at first. He gradually grew worse, and passed away at three o'clock the next morning. Mr. Faidley was well-known throughout this part of the county, and the family have the sympathy of the public in their sudden bereavement. The funeral will take place at Summit Mills, this (Thursday) morning at ten o'clock.
