A funeral for Mary Lou (Starkel) Malowney will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, in Lincoln Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Willamette National Cemetery. Mrs. Malowney died Nov. 17 of congestive heart failure at age 67.

She was born April 28, 1927, in Lincoln, Neb. In 1947 she married Richard C. Malowney, and they moved to Portland in 1949. A Gresham resident since 1954, she sold real estate for 20 years.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sons, John of Happy Valley and Michael of Salem; mother, Mollie Starkel of Milwaukie; sisters, Frances Starkel and Ilene Tamlyn, both of Milwaukie, and Ruth Speer of Portland; and four grandchildren.
