Funeral services for Mr. C.H. "Red" Bolt will be held from the graveside in St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery, New Ellenton, Sc., with Reverend Randy Taylor and Reverend Louise Pope officiating. The New Ellenton Masonic Lodge #389 will accord Masonic rites.
Born in Anderson, SC., a son of the late William Bolt and the late Maggie Darby Bolt, he had lived in New Ellenton, SC., since 1952, where he was Past Master of New Ellenton Masonic Lodge # 389, Past Worthy Patron of Order of the Eastern Star, was both a Scottish and York Rite Mason, and was a Shriner with the Aiken Shrine Club and the Jamil Temple, Columbia, SC., Mr. Bolt was formerly active with New Ellenton Youth Sports, Mr. Bolt retired after thirty-two years of service as a Welder with E.I. DuPont. During World War II, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A Christian, Mr. Bolt attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton, SC.
