Killed in service in an accident at Schlatt, Germany, aboard C-47A Skytrain #43-15104.


During a flight from Boddington, England, bound for Munich, Germany, the transport airplane crashed into terrain during a snowstorm. All sixteen passengers and crew aboard were killed:
