Floyd Allan Hill, Jr., age 58, our beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on Wednes-day, Jan 24, 2001, after a long battle with leukemia.

Floyd was born April 5, 1942 in Ysleta, Texas to Floyd Allan Hill, Sr. and Ida Graham Hill. He ser-ved an LDS mission in Germany. He married Barbara Holdaway on June 8, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a graduate of Brigham Young Uni-versity. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was an active member of the LDS Church, and served faithfully in many callings. Floyd spent 28 years working for the Church, traveling extensively through the world, including four years spent with his family in Lima, Peru. He made many valuable contributions in his work with the Membership and Statistical Records department, and made friends all over the world as he shared his love and talents with them. He loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and found great joy in study and service.

Survived by his wife, Barbara, and five children: Allan and Kimberly Hill (Provo), Angela and John Jorgensen (Seattle), LeeAnne and Brian Adams (Orem), Valerie Hill (Sandy), and Russell Hill (currently serving in the Japan Tokyo North Mission); and four grandchildren: Katie, Brittany, Daniel, and Andrew.
