Mr. Bantum was born April 3, 1860 in Bethlehem tp. and spent his entire life there, until six yeas ago when he moved to Coshocton. He was the son of John and Elizabeth Bantum. On Oct 22, 1890 he was married to Katharine Dawson, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leila Maxwell, of the home; a granddaughter, Mrs. Maxine Weber, Warsaw rt.1; two sisters, Mrs. Lillus Funk and Mrs. Emma Randles of Warsaw; and a brother, Grant Bantum of West Lafayette. Two brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Friends may call at the People's Funeral Home after noon Wednesday. Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the People's Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Lafferty officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
