HAMILTON--Mr. Vollie V. "Slim" Hamilton, age 74 of Fulton, Missouri, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Callaway Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening. Mr. Hamilton was born on September 11, 1904 in Fulton, the son of John Thomas Hamilton and Ida Mae (Harmon). He was married on April 7, 199 in Ashland, MO to Mary A. Sapp, who survives at the home. He is also survived by 4 sons, 1 daughter, 16 grandchildren; and 3 step grandchildren. Mr. Hamilton is also survived by 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Hamilton was retired from the Harbison-Walker Plant, and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family has requested memorial contributions to the Mt. Carmel Church. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Browning-Debo Chapel by the Rev. James Watkins. Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MO.
