Eunice was the daughter of Samuel and Eunice Stoddard Farwell of Nelson, New Hampshire.

On 17 May 1819 Eunice married Philip Atwood in a ceremony performed in Nelson. The couple continued to reside in Nelson and raised their family in the town.

Eunice died of kidney failure.
