FRANK E CROMACK DIES AT COLRAIN
Had Conducted Large Farm There For Many Years - Funeral Tuesday
Shelburne Falls, Aug. 20 - Frank E Cromack, 70, died at his home in Colrain last night follwoing a short illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Colrain and for many years had conducted a large farm. He was a member of Alethlan lodge of Odd Fellows of Shelburne Falls. Besides his widow, Mable Cromack, he leaves two daughters, Flora of Greenfield, Flossie of South Hadley and three sons, Clifford and Alton of Colrain and Erwin of Amherst; two sisters, Mrs Henry Wells of Watervliet, N.Y., and Mrs. Roscoe Temple of Colrain and two brothers, John of Shelburne and Sidney of Colrain. The funeral will be held at Johnson's funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 with Rev. William Roberts, pastor of the Colrain Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Branch cemetery at Colrain[sic]*.
*NOTE: His 1933 death record indicates he was to be buried in North River Cemetery, and, indeed, that is where his stone is found.
