OLGA BENISHEK
Mrs. Olga E. Benishek, 77, of 854 N. 10th St., died late Monday morning at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Benishek, nee Olga Ella Kasten, was born June 5, 1892, in Town of Gibson,
Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Albert and Wilhelmina Ott Kasten. She
attended St. John Lutheran School, Gibson. She was married to Frank B. Benishek
Oct. 5, 1918, at Manitowoc, where they made their home. Her husband preceded her
in death in 1956.
Survivors include a son, Albert W., of Manitowoc; three brothers, Albert of
Manitowoc, Dewey and Henry of the Town of Gibson; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Kasten,
of Cedarburg; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Wednesday
when the casket will be moved to the church.
