Otto A. Kasten, 72, a retired Rt. 2, Two Rivers, farmer, died Tuesday afternoon
at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roger Morrison, at Mishicot.
Funeral services will be at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. David Worgull, pastor of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Mishicot, officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town
of Kossuth.
Mr. Kasten was born March 18, 1890, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Albert
and Wilhelmina Ott Kasten. He married the former Caroline Schramm at Manitowoc
June 12, 1920, after which the couple engaged in farming near Shoto until a year
and a half ago, moving to Mishicot.
Besides his wife and two other daughters, Mrs. Wenzel Doleysh Jr., of Two Rivers
and Mrs. Victor Jerabek, of Mishicot, survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Minnie
Kasten of Saukville and Mrs. Olga Benishek of Manitowoc; three brothers, Henry
and Dewey of the Town of Gibson and Albert of Manitowoc; and 11 grandchildren.
Five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
