From the Faribault Daily News, Dec. 14, 1961:

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 12, for Mrs. Johannes Hauge of rural Dennison at the Urland Lutheran Church, with the Rev. B. J. Blikstad, pastor of the parish, officiating. There was also a short family service at the Hanson Funeral Home in Kenyon at 7:30 p.m. Monday. This was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Blikstad, who with Mrs. Blikstad sang, "Jesus Lover Of My Soul". At the church service, Mrs. Blikstad sang the Norwegian hymn, "Den Store Hvide Flok" and "Abide With Me" with Mrs. Truman Skaro, church organist, accompanying. The pallbearers were Obert Jacobson, Helmer and Alfred Berquam, Sanford Underdahl, Raymond Erie and Thorphin Flom. Interment was in the Urland Cemetery. Mrs. Johannes Hauge, who passed away at a Rochester hospital Saturday, Dec. 9, was the daughter of John and Martha (Erager) Lilleskov. She was born in Goodhue County May 27, 1893. She was married to Johannes Hauge April 18, 1923. The couple established a home in the Wanamingo area, where they have since resided. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. John (Jannes) Svien; three grandchildren, all of rural Dennison; two sister, Mrs. Lars (Mabel) Larson and Mrs. Arthur (Edna) Urness, both of Kenyon and three brothers, Selmer of Faribault, Clarence of Zumbrota and George of North Branch, Minn.
