HALL FUNERAL AT BOXHOLM

Last tributes were paid to the memory of Carl Oscar Hall at funeral rites held in Boxholm, Friday, May 29. In charge was the Rev. Herbert Olson.

Carl Oscar Hall was born in Sweden April 16, 1859. He came to America at the age of 11 with his parents, in the fall of 1870. His first parental home in America was in Boone County. He lived with his late brother, Gust and family in Curlew, Iowa from 1894 to 1916, when they moved to Dunnell, Minn., and lived there until 1936. He then moved to Tracy where he died at the Tracy hospital after a brief illness, Wednesday, May 26, at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Mr. Hall was confirmed at the Lutheran church in Dayton by the Rev. C. A. Hemberg. He is survived by three brothers, Otto, of Des Moines; Axel, of Lincoln, and Emil of Boxholm. Three brothers have preceded him in death, Gust in 1932, Frank in 1939 and Ed in 1942. Many relatives and friends mourn his departure.
